LG G3 Speed Boost?

I have a plain ATT LG G3 32GB Storage 3GB RAM and no Micro SD card.Ive noticed recently that my battery life is terrible and my phone is getting slower and slower so im re-doing my phone with a Hyperion 6000Mah Battery,Hyperion Case,Ballastic Glass.Im getting a 64GB or 128GB SD card but i dont know which one to choose. How much will the SD speed up my phone if i keep movies/music and my most used apps on the SD instead of Internal. Will my day to day use be faster (downloads,opening apps) or only when im doing something storage related

Speed and battery drain can be from lots of app's running in the background and installed crap.

I got the PNY 64GB stick and it vastly imporved performance i moved my most used apps and movies to the card and everything loads instantly and when im scrolling pictures they load instantly instead of having to wait for the phone to catch up. ANYONE WITH A LG G# I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A PNY TURBO CARD!
