My 32' LG LED TV has suddenly lost picture! The sound is alright but the screen is pitch black. After switching it on the picture flashes for a second and then the screen goes completely black. I have unplugged everything, tried to reset it, no good.

PLEASE HELP!

I have 55LG6200. I had the same problem. Look like it happened after a firmware update. Any clues .. any body got resolved?

Hello Clifford_3,
The LED lights are all on but didn't blink when I turned it on. I replaced the TCon and the LG logo came up but then the screen blacked out again. Any suggestions? I do appreciate your tutelage.

I have the same issue with that same TV. How did you get yours fixed?

Can you give me an idea of material cost, for 47" LG; to replace leds, and what physically, has to be done to replace?

So mine, flashes the Lg logo then nothing - is not the toon board. So next up for me is the power board. Trying to find one at the moment in the uk.

Hello guys,

So I have now fixed my TV. Mine flicked on showing the LG logo then off. *no dark patches on the screen - which means no dead LEDs* sound was as normal.

The fix for mine was the power board which is located in the middle of the tv. So if you have no dead LEDs it's likely the power board - PCB: EAX64905601 (eax number for my board).
