Solved! Lg plasma blinking

My 50" lg plasma after replacing the power supply board blinks on and off, (it has no accesories connected) please help.

It blinks on and off because you have a shorted transistor somewhere in the TV set.
You repaired the symptom, not the problem.

Is this a new issue that developed after the switch-mode board went bad? You may have an X-board going bad. Pretty common on older sets. I think the nomenclature from LG calls it a Z board, but same deal.

Also, check connections. Did you inspect the board for cracks or cracks in the traces due to shipping problems? Was this a new board you threw in, or was it salvaged (the older boards were notorious for bad capacitors).
