LG43UF67 tech help - issues with scaling

Hi everyone,

I've just bought a shiny new 4K TV to replace my old 1440p monitor. The problem is that windows don't resize properly (clickable boxes appear off screen with no scroll bar to select them, the toolbar and mouse seem way too big, that sort of thing). Games crash before they load too. What can I do to fix this?

TVs will overscan the picture where monitors won't. Check the owners manual to see if there is a setting for pixel by pixel or to adjust overscan. It might be adjustable in a service menu.
Depending on your video drivers there may be some adjustments there to compensate.

Thanks for the advice. Would that affect picture quality too by any chance? Some apps (Steam in particular) has terrible pixelated text.
