Line in not playing in Surround Sound Configuration.

I have 5.1 Surround Sound Configured on my computer so I wanted to plug my phone in and have it play through all speakers, however its only playing in a 2.1 configuration. I use speaker fill usually but I know longer have this option with line in. I dont need pure surround sound I don't mind if its just 2.1 upscaled to 5.1 and not true surround.

The reason is when you connect your phone it will send only stereo which is 2.1 and your computer will not convert to 5.1 if your 5.1 system has aux port connect your mobile directly and you can use fill speaker option it should work

I have a line in and not an aux also there is no speaker fill option as I said previously. My Motherboard is Asus M5A78L-M_USB3.
