Lines on side of samsung LED TV display

Hi all

Over the last few days I have noticed that lines have appeared on the left side of the LED screen on my samsung series 7 LED TV (approx 2.5 years old). Any ideas on the cause/ways to fix this?

Hi Brandon. Can you elaborate on that (sorry)? I have checked the connections at the back of the TV, and nothing appears loose etc.

Analog sources (such as the RCA (red/white/yellow) connections on a television could provide image interference that is not common with digital sources. However if it is a digital source that you are having problems with (HDMI) perhaps your display, or source is having issues?

Have you tried an alternative input on the TV, or another cable? Does the problem persist while viewing broadcasts?

Also make sure that your input cables are not running along with a power cable of any type, as this could cause interference in non-shielded input cables.

Thanks Brandon. The problem appears to persist across inputs (Apple TV and Xbox via hdmi) as well as through normal television (the TV doesn't use RCA cables)
