Hi, Im a bit of a newbie.
I have a projector and media streamer about 5 metres away from my surround sound.
I currently have an audio lead under a large rug to connect the two - 3.55m jack to an RCA phono splitter.
Can I replace this lead with a paired wireless (Bluetooth?) system?
Mich obliged

Solution
Using bluetooth might cause some latency in the audio. If you try bluetooth the AptX ones might work better.
As suggested above an RF solution would probably work better than any bluetooth.

or just leave the wire under the rug. If you want to upgrade your surround sound to digital you will need a digital cable anyway since there are not digital audio wireless solutions I know of.
You can use a pair of Bluetoth transmitter - Bluetooth receiver to for a single audio path, but I would rather use some wireless audio transmitter for that. Pairing transmitter to receiver might be difficult - most of these devices are designed with another active device in mind.
