Linux mint asus e35m1 hdmi sound problem

Hi everyone,
I just fired up a brand new HTPC based on the ASUS 35M1-I DeLuxe motherboard. I have installed Linux Mint 11, and everything works well, except that i the HDMI sound does not work at all. I have tried different settings both in linux and in the bios setup environments, but none works. Suggestions for solutions, anyone ?

Problem solved !!!!!

I solved the problem by upgrading the firmware in my TV-set. For some reason the TV did not respond to HDMI-sound, but that's fixed now. The HTPC works fine.
