Local channels on directTV

My local channels at home are received on a second dish that is pointed in a different direction than the one receiving the regular DirectTV signal. I have an extra dish that I take camping along with a receiver from the house. Works fine, but I do not get any local channels. If I bought a second dish to take camping, how would I set it up for getting local channels?
