R RichC_35 Honorable Jan 1, 2013 6 0 10,510 Jan 1, 2013 #1 I close my computer by clicking on Sleep. When I re-start by clicking any key,I them have to click an owner locked icon. The computer then turns on. Can I unlock something so the computer comes on after I click any key???

mcnumpty23 Distinguished Jul 15, 2011 579 0 19,210 Jan 1, 2013 #2 try this Go to the Control Panel Click on Appearance and Personalization Click on Change Screen Saver Unclick On resume, display logon screen if that doesnt do it go to control panel power options there should be a similar setting there for when it comes out of sleep probably in the Require Password on Wakeup bit--if thats ticked untick it Upvote 0 Downvote
