Locked computer

I close my computer by clicking on Sleep. When I re-start by clicking any key,I them have to click an owner locked icon. The computer then turns on. Can I unlock something so the computer comes on after I click any key???

Go to the Control Panel
Click on Appearance and Personalization
Click on Change Screen Saver
Unclick On resume, display logon screen

if that doesnt do it go to control panel

power options

there should be a similar setting there for when it comes out of sleep

probably in the Require Password on Wakeup bit--if thats ticked untick it

In Power Options, The require Password on Wakeup is marked YES. Problem is it s gray shaded and you can't change it to no.
