Logitech software cant install on windows 7

Hello to eveyone,i made an upgrade these days buyng gaming mouse g400s
but have an issue cant install logitech software on windows 7 64 for configure buttons
i try older versions anything but doesnt work
when try to install pop up a window says This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application´s support team for more information.

Hi,

Logitech has made their website a little bit hard to navigate. Several users have had a similar issue recently, it turned out that they were downloading the incorrect (but similarly named) software.

The software that you need to install can be found here

Hi all. Logitech's LGS latest version is 8.88.28 (per their website) but it won't install on Windows 7. I found Version 8.87.116 installs without any problems.

LGS 8.87.116 wouldn't recognize the G29 (PS4/PS3 racing wheel); pedals or shifter. LGS 8.85.215 did and the G29 et. all are working just fine.
