Logitech USB Microphone / Headset driver

my logitech - USB Headset H530 - works with skype
but thats all - cant get any music or even windows sounds through the headset - only through the laptop speakers!
please help

What version of Windows? Windows sees those headphones as a second sound card, so you need to tell Windows to use that sound card by default.

OK, go into the Control Panel, select Sounds and Audio Devices, select the Audio tab, then for sound playback choose the Logitech output as the default device.
