logitech z-623 different sound quality when using front and back 3.5 mm aux input

HELP!!!! 3.5mm aux input of satellite speaker of logitech z623 is sounding clearer & louder when compared to the aux input at the back of the subwoofer. why is it so? do i got a defective product or is it normal?

The front is a 3.5 mm jack, the rear is not, are you using an adapter? If so, it may be the adapter causing the issue.
