Hey my desktop is currently on the fritz, deadlocking and so on, anyway I decided to look into purchasing a somewhat gaming laptop that won’t be completely obsolete in 2 years.

I’d like to be able to play LoL and Overwatch on decent settings without an issue, and maybe a new title on lesser settings if one peaks my interest. I’m thinking around the 1050Ti area. I'd like to also use this to help me stream some games such as on xbox or switch, using the laptop for OBS and the capture card.

I’d like to have the option to upgrade RAM and the SSD (maybe an M.2)

My price point is around $1000, Maybe $1200
I’ve looked around and seen some good options, just need you guys to help me find the best bang for my buck. I’ve listed some options that I’ve found below, feel free to recommend any others. Thanks in advance. :pt1cable:

Dell Gaming Laptop G5587-5859BLK-PUS G5 seems to be the best one. Has SSD and the SSD/HDD/RAM are upgradeable. Also:
1060 is faster than 1050 TI. http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1060-Mobile-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1050-Ti-Mobile/m164336vsm223242
8300H is faster than 7700HQ http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-7700HQ-vs-Intel-Core-i5-8300H/m211019vsm425634

Note: Gaming laptop requires laptop cooler + quality thermal paste for long duration gaming as most gaming laptops will thermally throttle if pushed hard enough. (20$-50$ depending on what you buy)

I still recommend you get your PC fixed or upgrade it if it's old. With a 1000$ you can build a beast depending on what you have already. Examples:

Good Luck with your purchase.
