looking for a good graphics card for my laptop

I'm looking for a graphics card for my laptop. Just seeing what I can do to it and play more games that require graphics card and CPUs and all that just need advice.

Laptops rarely can have a GPU added or upgraded. They generally rely on an iGPU built into the CPU or a dGPU that is built into the motherboard.

To upgrade either of these would require researching the model laptop you have and see if there were better CPU and/or GPU options available for that chasis, then trying to replace the motherboard or CPU with that upgrade.

There are a few laptops that have removable GPU's but these tend to be higher end and expensive laptops.

Erm, most laptops come with a graphics solution solderd to the laptops motherboard.
Or can be a IGPU/ cpu affair.

Only high end laptops of $1000 plus come with graphics cards were you can upgrade or change them because the graphics cards on high end gaming laptops slot into a Mini Pci-e edge connector on the laptop motherboard. The graphics cards come on there own circuit board and slot into the Pci-e slot of the laptop motherboard.

You have to check if your laptop has a Mini Pci-e edge connector.
If your laptop was in the £500 to £600 pound range in price, it most likely does not have a Pci-e laptop interface so you can upgrade the graphics solution.
If your graphics solution is soldered to the laptop motherboard you have no chance in upgrading it.
If it`s part of the Cpu die package, then buy upping the cpu to a I5 if the laptop can support that cpu you would see an improvement. once again though you would have to check that the laptop motherboard could except an I5 cpu and work with it.
