a) non-IPS (AMD was, but I don't know how they actually compare)
b) 1600x900 (AMD was 1920x1080)
c) Intel CPU is better (it may be "only" dual-core but it's faster per core, runs at a higher frequency as well, and also supports hyperthreading)
The NVidia has a 940M, and AMD has an R7-M360. I'll see if I can find more info.
Wow, tough comparison.
I'd really want to see (and hear) them under normal lighting and noise. Not possible.
My gut reaction is to go with the NVidia + Intel setup without further information.
That laptop is only ok at gaming. The r7 360m is fairly slow. A 940m would blow it out of the water. Same goes for the cpu. For about the same price, you can get something with a gtx 950m and i5/i7. If you want to go cheaper, the 520$ acer comes with a nice i5 and 940m. It is by far the best bang for your buck laptop out there. Check out new egg. Aim for a gtx 950 or higher if you want to spend more.
