Looking for a low budget egpu

Does, the HP Elite X2 1012 G1 support external gpus over the USB C port, I have seen some reviews stated it's thunderbolt 3 but I'm not sure?
Also, I'm looking for a budget friendly egpu that supports thunderbolt 3, what are some good pocket friendly gpu to find out there? I'm sorry if I'd asked in the wrong section. I'm pretty new to this.
