I want to find an easy to use, customizable music player, beacuse I finally started hearing music without using youtube custom playlists. I use Windows Media Player but i'm not very happy with it. Can someone give me some good advice?
Largely based on my nostalgia. Haven't actually used any of the newer players. It was hard to go wrong with Winamp back in the day, though.
Thanks a lot, im trying it out now. I hear its being rebuilt? Is it true? Says its changing ownership or that happened already?
Recently changed ownership in the last year or so. Had started to become defunct. Currently being reworked and updated (from what I understand). So yeah, it's in a bit of transitional state at the moment. Should still mostly work though.

Hm, even better, that way winamp will be fresh new again. First impression it gave me was like kind of a windows XP - vista look. It uses themes gladly. Thanks for the tip titillating-senpai :3
There was a nice open source player called Songbird, but the project shut down for lack of funds.
A fork named Nightingale took its place.
It was very fast and had a beautiful, well-thought UI, that could be expanded with plugins...
