Hello,

I am going to college very soon and I really want to be able to take my gaming on the go when I can't get to my rig. I understand that gaming laptops are bound to burn out because of excessive heat etc., but I was wondering if there were any models out there that would last me a long time since I will be using this laptop for college things as well. It doesn't have to be too fancy, Im looking to run games like WoW and GTA V on fair settings with minimal fps lags. I'd prefer anything up to $1,000 and warranties (renewable or even lifetime) would be a huge plus. If anyone games on an inexpensive laptop that has lasted them many years, please let me know!

Thanks,
-Klark

I have an Asus G50VT laptop with top end X9100 CPU and nVidia 9800gs m video card, been crunching 100% on the CPU and GPU for years nearly 24/7 with no hardware failures, besides the screen backlight going out. But, it's an old laptop so it isn't fast enough for your games and new Asus laptops are built differently.
