looking for a solution to my laptops probelm

my laptop started freezing recently while am playing games like NEED FOR SPEED MOST WANTED and even GRAND THEFT AUTO VICE CITY and before they used to play normally with no issues but now it seems a cant play a single game without it freezing, please help?????

Couple of troubleshooting steps you might want to try, cleaning the laptop and installing the latest driver for your graphics card. First is cleaning the laptop make sure nothing is preventing the fans to spin freely like dust. Reapply a new thermal paste onto the CPU and GPU. Lags or freezing could be an indication of overheating problem. Next is installing the latest driver for your graphics card. Uninstall the old driver first from Device Manager and in Programs and Features. Once removed download and install the latest driver from the manufacturer of the graphics card.

Just use Auto Detect so it could give you the latest and accurate driver for your graphics card. Finally is to reboot it once the latest driver has been installed.
