Solved! Looking for and understanding my LDVS cable

I recently tried to put in my laptop screen and realised my LVDS cable is mangled(and burned out,the pins and the sticker are no good anymore). I was wonderinf if I could change it out if I were to open up mylaptop also, how would I go about getting another one (Considering I have no idea the exact cable I need or if there is a generic cable)

You would want to find the exact cable for your laptop model, it should be possible to replace it but really depends on the system, in most cases there is a connector on the screen to remove the cable from. Check eBay for the cable, there seems to be a few of them available.
