I had some siberia v2's, but I had to take them back because they were broken, i've gotten a refund, because the customer service were pretty slow, what upgrade can I get from this? I'd just like some preferably surround headset, because I play a lot of FPS', and also a microphone that is noise cancelling and doesn't create static.

Solution
I play a lot of CoD multiplayer and I use the Plantronics 780. A lot of people say how loud I am and that I'm louder than anything in the game,so I need to reduce the mic volume every time I play CoD. It's that good.
Pros: Good sound quality, excellent mic, circumaural, has surround sound, very comfortable.
Cons: I wish it had a better sound quality, but don't get me wrong,it's pretty good.It just wasn't as I expected it to be when I bought them.
Razer Kraken 7.1 are also great headsets. So are Turtle Beach Z22.All are great headsets and you defintiely won't regret buying them.
Get whichever one you like the most.
If you want the best of the best,Astro A50s are the way to go.But they are priced at $250. :)
All the best. 😉
Alright, thanks for the help, i'll change around usbs if any problems happen, but thanks for pointing me in the right direction. i'll let you know in this thread if it keeps to any avail.

no. i had a corsair vengeance 1500 v2 that had no sound so i returned that, my siberias were great but i had to return them because a joint on the earcup was very squeaky. thats about it. kinda gutted. i went on google to find lots of other people are having trouble with the problem im having, where static is audible when any sound is playing.

yeah, just talking to someone who has the same headset, they dont have the problem. it must be the headset. i'll rma on the razer website asap. just tried it on a laptop, its definitely the headset. what a let down.

wierd. I just tested it on the pc downstairs, same thing. but when i got both of my parents to listen, they couldn't hear a thing after a sound. i think it might be my hearing.

contacted razer support, it was a fault, and i've returned it. luckily, im getting a new one tommorow because it was sold through amazon and they're really quick about it.

What the hell? You still have that problem?
I think that you have to try like 5 othe PCs.If the same problem occurs, then it's the headsets.
If it only happens on your PC,it's the mobo.
Other than that,I have no idea. :{

Tried it on a pc downstairs and my laptop before i returned the first one. still had the problem, its a joke really. I think it might be because i have sensitive ears. But if thats the case then razer are clearly aiming their products towards 60 year olds who have numb ears.

im sorry but im gonna have to return them. you cant ignore it and its just too loud. i know its not me and its razer. so im gonna look for a better brand that isnt over rated.

I'm thinking between the g430 pr the g35 7.1, does the price between them make the sound quality or mic any better?

Both are excellent headsets with a fairly good mic and great sound quality.
I would the G430,you will be happy with them. IMO you're paying the extra $30 for the G35 for the extra buttons on the headsets themselves. If you have money to get the G35,then you can buy them, they're great too.
