No, you cannot, but a 750 ti would be a nice purchase and give you quite the gameplay at that, the maxwell architecture is great with power consumption as well. Here take a look at this:

Technically you could probably play it on a potato running a windows emulator. Would anybody suggest you do so? What's your GPU budget?

Definitely agree the 750ti is the way to go on a budget. This model is a short card and also requires no additional power cables. Evga typically has the best warranties on Nvidia cards too.

Yes the 750ti does have less power requirements, but a r9 280 is around the same price and beats it in performance. If your PSU can handle it go with the r9 280. It is a lot stronger of a card.

r9 280 = £150
750ti = less than £120

The 280 is better no doubt, no arguing that. Its just they're not the same price.

The one I linked to retails for £114.

Both will provide smooth gaming experience, it looks like it comes to your psu and budget, the info is there and the choice is now yours sir.

Keep in mind he has to have a fairly hefty power supply to use the r9 280.
