Looking for roughly 65in

I'm currently looking for a 65-70in TV in the price range of <$1,500 and there are so many options to say the least, they all use different terms and everything is incredibly confusing and overwhelming. I would be willing to sacrifice a bit of screen real estate (from 70 to 65 as an example) if the 65in was better in obvious ways.

I guess I'm just looking to be guided down the right path. Vizio is my brand preference. Just overwhelmed

1) What is the primary purpose for the TV? (Games or TV basically)
2) Are there specific terms you need help with?

Vizio is an average brand I would say. Not top of the line, but certainly above what you can find in many big-box stores (Though that is primarily where they are sold)

To narrow down your choices a little:
4K? (65"+ is where 4K starts to make sense)
Full HD?
Smart? (Internet capable, built-in apps)
Touchscreen?
Voice activated?
Webcam?
Planning on external speakers?

and so on.
