Looking for VPN recommendation. W10 PC user in America

I have had for a number of years a VPN service that I trusted and which provided good service. They have become flaky.

Im looking for a reliable trustworthy VPN. I dont mind paying for a good one. I need one with a kill switch (my old reliable VPN has let me down and left me exposed as the service dropped repeatedly)

Any thoughts would be appreciated
