If you are going to use this for intensive games and game development. Do everyone a favor and do not buy a laptop... Also i dunno if your goal is strictly tied to "mobile" gaming But you can build a 3 times better pc with the same money you are investing on a pre-built laptop...
Gaming Laptops tends to be Expensive, less powerful and even more troublesome than desktop pcs the only adventage it offers its the capacity to Move them and translate them everywhere easily.

I would suggest you a PC like this:

CPU : I5 6500
MOBO : Gigabyte Z170x
GPU: GTX 1060 6 gb
Psu : 650 W Evga
HDD: 1 TB WD Blue
Ram : 16 GB Vengance 2133 mhz
OS : Windows 7 64-bits

Ramlethal is right. a gaming laptop is overpriced and a bit slower. but here is where he is somewhat wrong. your "to purchase laptop" can run GTA 5 with these settings with the 12gb of ram: http://
when you can get a $1300 gaming computer (Canadian price is $1300 American is around $1000) with these specs: http://
which can run GTA 5 around these levels: http://
which is 10 times faster than what you are trying to make with that Asus laptop that you are planning to buy. my suggestion would be to get this laptop or an "MSI Apache PRO" which is 100 dollars more but comes with a SteelSeries RGB keyboard and better cooling, with the downfall of a thicker and heavier chassis. hope this helped!
