Looking to get computer speakers...need input!

I am looking to get new computer speakers since mine do not pack the punch I wish for. I am looking to spend around $150, if you guys could throw me some suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

$150 is a REALLY nice budget and you have some options. Is 5.1 sound important? If you really enjoy music, you should hit your goodwill a few times and find a VERY NICE receiver for around $40-80, or on Craigslist. Then pick up a couple nice used speakers at goodwill/craigslist and you have yourself a serious sound system for $150.

If you really want PC speakers, here's a really nice set of Corsairs:

And a reallyl nice set of Logitechs... but I'd go with the older used stereo solution
