Looking to upgrade ram on my Laptop

Hi guys and girls, Im new here so bear with me
my sons got a hp 15-g25sa notebook it has 4gb of ram and amd a6 5200 processor. he wants to upgrade the ram. is he going to have to upgrade anything else.

No, youre good to go buying only ram no need to upgrade anything else to add ram

Except for the ram and harddrive there is nothing else that can be upgraded on this laptop.

Depending on the amount of storage space that is being used an upgrade form a mechanical harddrive to a SSD will dramatically increase boot and program loading times. However SSD's are expensive, more expensive than traditional harddrives. it would also require you to somehow clone the current harddrive to a SSD.
