Recently we wired my av receiver to my home theater speakers. It was the kind you had to strip, twist, and screw into place behind the speakers. However, upon stripping and cutting them, some of the copper peices of wire fell down into the vents of the av receiver, and are now loose on the motherboard (I am not sure if this is called actually called a motherboard as I am hardly technically savvy). I was just wondering if these loose wires will cause any harm or interference with the av receiver or sound quality. Thank you,
R

Solution
could shorten contacts inside and blow your receiver to heaven (burn circuits on it). Open it up and clean the wires before powering it up

Thank you for you quick reply, will do! But is there any specific way to get them out without damaging anything? Or am I good just to go ahead and remove them? I am currently using q-tips.
