Low budget gaming headset

Hello. I recently purchased the Logitech G230s only to discover that the microphone didn't work on them. I got them refunded but now I'm not sure what headset to replace it with. My budget is around £20-£40 (I live in the UK), and would prefer to use Amazon due to the free delivery. Any suggestions are appreciated. I need to be able to hear footsteps with the headphones, and have averagely good microphone quality for team communication. Thanks a lot, guys!

EDIT: Even suggestions for a good microphone would be helpful, as I can keep a headset I have already and just buy a separate microphone to use 😀

Well the sound was excellent from the G230s, but multiple reviews were complaining about the microphone not working, or the microphone easily breaking. Communication whilst gaming is a key thing so the microphone breaking on me would be a disaster again. 🙁

A decent pair of headphones+ a mic will be your best option.
