Low FPS when using 4k resolution in games

Hi,so i have nvidia GTX 780Ti video card and i am trying to use 4k (downsampled resolution) in games but i get very low FPS please help how can i increase fps to make the game smooth with 4k.Thanks.

4K Resolution requires a lot from your graphics card. You can try lowering your graphic settings but if that doesn't work you will need to get another 780 Ti and put them in SLI mode to get higher FPS.

What game and what settings? And that what your gonna get playing on 4k most likely, you need two of those 780 ti's in sli to get some decent frame rates at 4k.

we would also need to know your cpu as the cpu can also improve performance

I think the problem is that i have 1 graphics card.I tried with a bit low resolution and lower some settings now its working great
