LUMIX PANASONIC DMC-30 camera will not open

My LUMIX Panasonic DMC-30 won't work, despite the battery being fully charged. The lens doesn't come out, even when switched on

Have you found a solution yet? Have you checked around the lens to make sure there are no obstructions (dust, dirt, etc.) that would prevent the lens from coming out? You could try, at your own risk, gently tapping the camera on a table to see if that loosens any obstruction.
