Hey guys, so I've been trying to unlock the other two "dormant" cores inside my AMD Phenom II X2 555 BE. First off, as a disclaimer, I'm not sure if the other two are defective, so there's a point.

So I went into my bios and turned on the core unlocker, and set the core unlock option to auto.

I also turned on the switch in my computer, and restarted it. I have not gotten past the loading screen right before the login screen.

Tips guys?

Don't need the switch and bios...

Try going from auto to selecting cores and try for 3 instead of 4

You may need more voltage to make the other cores work if they can

so i went into my bios and turned auto to manual and tried to select 4 cores. However, when your core unlocker is turned off you're only allowed to turn on your second core.

Computer is still not cooperating with me and not booting up.
