MacBook 13 A1181 questions

Good day,

So I'm looking for an ok computer to do my programming and watch some movies.
I found this used macbook 13 a1181 for around $110 which i think is a good price.
But will the macbook run well for atleast a year or two?

2,2GHz core 2 duo
4gb ram
OS X 10.7.5

Hello.

Those are pretty dismal specs for a laptop of 110. Do you really need a Apple? You could do much better with a WIndows laptop on $110.

I still have my MacBook A1185/A1181 and it still runs very well and performs better than my Dell Latitude E6400 which was made in 2011/12. The OS installed on it is very lightweight. It boots up in about 5 seconds, and is very quick because the OS is not full of Windows bloatware. I use it as an extra laptop for web browsing/Youtube/ FaceTime.. ect. My kids still love using it. If its in good shape and the screen is looks nice I would go for it even if its old.
