Mackie fr 1400 Amp

Hello,
Just picked up this second hand, was assured it was working fine before i took delivery, but powered up, and got the 'HOT' led instantly. No output whatsoever, any ideas, i'm very much a plug in and go person, not very technical at all, so help would be great.

I know this is quite an old post. I wondered if you had come across a solution to the above problem.

The exact same thing has just happened to me.

is it actually hot though???, have u felt the top? or anuthing like that, cos it could jsut be the amps heat detection malfunction.
