Making everything come through 1 set of speakers

My main living room tv is a 55" LG with a computer tower under it. Computer is connected to the screen via an HDMI. I also have a PS4 and a Wii U connected to the TV via their respective cables. How do I make all those systems / computer, no longer use TV speakers, and instead use a set of computer speakers I have that I want to use instead.

If the TV has a headphone jack, then you plug the speakers in to that.

You can achieve that by introducing a A/V Receiver to your setup. What's your budget?

Your TV should have an audio out 3.5mm jack. You can plug your computer speakers into that. In the your TV settings > audio menu, select external speakers.

My "audio out" option says (optical) after it. I don't think the 3.5mm will work.

Oh, it actually doesn't have a headset jack. What speaker system do you use, basic or?

Currently just using the tv speakers. I wanted to use a nice pair of logitec speakers I used to use on my desktop.

So i'd have to find speakers with an optical cord instead? is there another way? without spending a lot? I think it's tough because the HDMI streams video and audio, so to plug everything in to some sort of central hub seems either impossible or expensive.?

You can an optical to rca adapter, and then rca to 3,5mm for the speakers.
