I drive a 04 sonata and I'm having trouble making burned CDs work in my car, but I think the issue is the songs are getting burned as mp3s when they need to be .cda files is there a burning program I can use that will convert the mp3 files into .cda files?

Thanks.

You can also use Windows Media Player to burn Audio CD's. There's a guide here on how to do that:

Try this:

http://www.burnaware.com/

When installed, choose option to create an "Audio CD" in the Multimedia section.

Can't say for sure if it can create .cda tracks from mp3 tracks but hopefully it can.

On my Windows 10: There's a side panel on the right, with "Play", "Sync" and "Burn" tabs. Drag a handful of MP3 there, put a blank CD into the writer, choose "Audio CD" on the small drop-down menu at the top-right corner, click "Start burn".
