Malware affecting the use of Chrome

Yesterday I started installing a program but cancelled half way when I realized it was malware.
So now when I open Chrome, the home page is changed to mail.ru (in settings it's open new tab) and while browsing, it opens random pages with obvious malware on them.
I scanned the PC with Avira and CCleaner with no results.

I tried both and both found and removed mail.ru, but it comes back after restart.
None of the programs could find what's causing those pop-ups to open. Just noticed it tires to open one each time I click on something but chrome blocks most of them.

If ccleaner is installed go to tools/browser plugins and see if it's there. If it is delete it. Or see if something for it in startup

If it's there delete it. I would use a better browser. Chrome is like a malware magnet

It was in the Extensions list earlier but after scanning with all those programs it's gone.
Last time when I had a similar problem someone asked me for HiJack This log so I will add it here.

I am having an issue too with my chrome on the laptop. I whenever i click anywhere on the site it opens a new tab. And this happens around twice for each click until the third allows me to do what i want to. Any specific reason.
