Before trying this my laptop used to blink light when battery is plugged in but now it is not lighting up.First I taught it was the problem with the battery or adapter but the other laptop is working fine with the same battery and adapter.What might be the problem with the laptop?How can I resolve this?

Do any lights show when you plug it in? Any of the power lights on the device?

no nothing is being shown no response at all for anything

It could be any number of things. Bad ram, bad motherboard, etc. If it is under warranty, I would contact the manufacturer. If it isn't, then I would consider a local tech.
