I purchased an Onkyo tx-nr646 7.2 receiver. It has 170 W/Ch (6 Ohms, 1 kHz, 0.9% THD, 1 Channel Driven, FTC). My Pioneer SP-PK52FS have towers rated at max input power of 130W and center channel at 80W. Should I reconsider this receiver?
Thanks!

Solution
onkyo
170 W/Ch (6 Ohms, 1 kHz, 0.9% THD, 1 Channel Driven, FTC);
100 W/Ch (8 Ohms, 20 Hz–20 kHz, 0.08% THD, 2 Channels Driven, FTC)

pioneer
floor 130w 6ohm
bookshelf 80w 6ohm
cen 90w 6ohm

is the receiver fine?

you could certainly work with the receiver and make it work for you however you would want to remember not to turn up the volume knob near max as it could damage the speakers.
