Pr3di Honorable Sep 18, 2013 35 0 10,610 Dec 5, 2014 #4 @Slavegamer - there are laptops where the CPU is not soldered in. Just last week I was cleaning a laptop for a friend, and I removed the CPU during the cleaning. Which means you can replace it with another one. Upvote 0 Downvote
