Mic not working in game?

I purchased a new computer a couple weeks ago, and have continues to use the same headset that worked fine on my old one. The computer is using windows 10 (64 bit).

While playing online games, I cannot receive or broadcast voice to my teammates. My mic still works fine in other voice apps like discord and skype, but I've had the same issue with PUBG, CS:GO, and rainbow six.

I've made sure my computer's device settings, steam settings, and game settings are still detecting the correct mic, and my drivers are up to date. I've also tried playing with all other voice apps completely closed to see if they were interfering, but the issue continued.

Any advice on what to try would be appreciated, thanks.
