Micro SD card adapter

I put my micro sd card in an adapter input that into my Canon camera and its still saying its locked can I fix this? And yes I already moved the switch to lock and unlock

What Canon camera model are you trying to use an adapter in? Have you used a microSD card in this camera before or is this something new?

Try using it in a card reader on a computer if all you want to do is see what is on the card.
