Microphone audio is extremely faint.

Yesterday I tried installing a voice mod for discord, but when i went into a call my friend couldn't hear me. I uninstalled the voice mod but that didn't work. I tried going to user settings>voice>recording and changing the boost to +30 and every other thing the internet has told me to do. I would appreciate if one of you could help.

it's integrated into my laptop, it's realtek if that helps

Okay, so what I suggest is that you maybe open a recording app and try to make a voice recording and see if your mic works. Get back to me!

i did that and my voice is still very faint.
