Microphone for YouTube gaming commentary

I have been making YouTube videos for a while now and have decided I want to start making them regularly. I want to record competitive game that require high accuracy and I am worried that if I go ahead and order a Blue Yeti microphone I won't do it justice or it may hinder may gameplay. I won't only do competitive games but prefer not to buy a high quality headset and the Yeti.

Can you perhaps recommend a stand for the mic or will the mic get in my way. Thank you for any answers and all input is appreciated

The newer wecams have pretty good mics, or how about an array style ?
