Question Microphone is suddenly not picked up.

My microphone has been working completely fine until this morning, where it has suddenly stopped being picked up by my laptop (headset sound works fine though). I made sure the microphone worked on another device and ran through all the sound settings. I also (think) I updated all the needed drivers. Any suggestions?
