microsoft program installations

Hello, I have heard it through the grapevine that I am not allowed to install microsoft access 2010 while having office 2013 on my PC. I have googled this and could not find an answer. I would like to get 2010 for it is cheaper and hope to get some insight on this.

Not quite sure you can only get Access, think you need to get Office and only install Access, but either way it usually does not work when you try to have different version of office installed.

If the 2010 support your OS, and as you fully uninstall 2013. should be able to install 2010.
Or use one of the free alternate libreoffice http://www.libreoffice.org/
