I have an acer aspire 4730z and I was looking to upgrade my OS to Windows 7 Ultimate. In the process I ran into errors. One of the errors that I ran into was that I did not have enough space on my harddrive, which has 250GB. But my main issue is when I looked into diskmgmt.msc I saw that the volumes for each partition went missing. But when I go into the windows explorer, the name of the drive and the drive letter are there. I have been researching this problem, but I have not been able to come up with an answer that will help me. Any ideas on what I could try out. I have tried using the diskpart in cmd to try and potential fix the problem, but no luck with that. I have also installed and ran programs like EASEUS Partition Master to try and resolve the problem, still no luck. When I run EASEUS Partition Master, the partitions on the disk show up correctly, but in diskmgmt.msc, does not show correctly.
