Question Mitsubishi WD-65731 will not power on

I have a Mitsubishi WD-65731 and the other night I turned it on and it powered up in the usual way with the flashing green timer light and it went solid green, but then powers off.

You can hear a high pitched sound as it shut down.

The screen never comes on.

I unplugged everything connected to it for a day and tried again, but the same thing happens.

You might to able to find a main board/power supply replacement on ebay. It may not solve your problem but for about $70 it might be worth a try.
Overall I would say it's time to get a new TV. Black Friday prequels have already started.

Could it be a bulb / tube?....How is it determined to be a power supply?
