Solved! Mixer Help/ Question

Im kind of new to audio equipment so i have a few questions. I wanted to get a mixer to hook up to my pc so i could control the eq of my xlr mic, music, and other PC sounds with a physical device so i didnt have to screw with them on a program. but after i thought about it it wouldnt work for me since if i was listening to music and in a discord call my friends would here my music also right? so is there any mixer or other device so i can control that stuff but also separate the mic and music, games and other pc sounds into 2 different inputs to my pc?

A physical mixer can only control what is coming out of your PC. The only way to control what is coming out of your PC is via software. The closest thing you could get is an audio interface for music production but you could say only mix between your DAW and what ever your other PC software is doing.

You can't do it just with hardware, but you can do it with hardware controlling your software. But you're looking at getting into expensive music production kit.

I don't think you need a mixer at all if you just want to adjust the tone.
If you use powered speakers on your PC you can connect a hardware EQ in between the PC and them. Won't affect the mic at all.
There is software that you can use to route audio to different outputs based on the program.
